Well I knew this would happen eventually my old image hosting sight has bought the farm, and hence when you load my page nothing shows up, so I guess it's time to get working on that new layout that I've never finished slicing up.

on another note I have decided that instead of leveling blackmage to 75 I will instead level Beastmaster givin that my life at the moment is not very FFXI-friendly time wise so I will level a job that lets me level when I want to for however long I want and with whom I want...

Well I'm finally back into FFXI I've yet to really turn it back on yet though just sort of considering my options with the new level sync system, should I continue to solo my Redmage to 37 or should I level sync it and party my way up, then finally start the slow journey that is Blackmage to 75.

But other than that I was wondering if the update had gimped beastmaster pets as Exp whores, I had seen in the last update notes it had something about editing all the bst pets.

But without further addue I'm just releasing a wallpaper for show, if anyone wants anything done graphically please let me know I will enjoy working on it as it gives me something to flex my Photoshop muscles with, I don't get enough work nowdays so my skills are becoming rusty so I need to get back into fighting shape.

On to some real world news...normally I don't post much about what I do oustide of Photoshop and FFXI here but I decided to gripe about my current situation at work.

So I work at a local superstore in the electronics department, uppon hearing that the Portrait studio supervisor put in her two weeks notice I imediatly threw myself into the aplication procedure for the position, wether I get this position or not is highly unlikley due to the store managment not being on my favorable side in most situations, but stupider stuff has happend before.

Like when I was all set to become the assistance manager of the electronics department some fool who just came back to working at the store after a 2 year spree of being away from the job of a electronics clerk decides to move back to this town and start...he then promptly was promoted over me, I am currently in a dispute with my union about the whole affair but considering that my union is comprised of a bunch of morons I doubt I will see any form of compensation unless I can irefutably prove that he was never fit for the position....

But that shouldn't be too hard considering he is

-Always late for work
-Rude to customers
-Doesn't really work very well
-Poor leadership skills
-More or less encourages slacking on the job

with a long list of growing character defects, the only bad thing is he is the department managers friend, now my department manager is a very great guy it's really the only reason I'm still at this job at the moment, but I got to say he need to assert his athourity more to stop the slump that our night shift employees are creating within the department. We are #1 in the province for movie and video game sales within the company...how we accomplish this is because the dayshift works there ass off while the night shift rests on there laurels knowing our manager is too much of a softy to do anything about it.

Hopefully good things happen to good people and I get the Portrait Studio position...I've never been a fan of people or children but I manage to sell stupid people stuff they know nothing about nor care to do research themselves...so I can manage to make children smile...or perhaps cry at the sight of me. Through Highschool a majority of my studies were on the composition of images through the eyes of a computer the same princables of computerized imagry is the basics of picture composition

Center of focus, make a trail for the eye to follow, the meaning of colors to relate to feeling and the person, lighting, focus. all the same in taking a picture of a person angle of the subject and such so I have the basics down for the position and training is provided by the company for areas I make lack in knowledge of photography but I do know my way around a studio at least. Here is hoping...if not whatever I'll stay in my early stock shift for the electronics until something else presents itself.

If only I had the nerve to tell my "Assistant manager" to learn how to work instead of dick around...oh well perhaps it will come down to that someday...hopefully I can spare myself burning of bridges it's a small world afterall. You never know when you will end up working for someone relative that you decided to be a ass too.

Oh well and as I complain the world keeps turning and life goes on, with or without the promotion I am generally happy where I am and could do it for years to come.

I have been rather absent from the world of Vanadiel for some time, this is due to a culimination of things.

1. My brother sucks at spending money on his Credit Card so I'm going to get my own credit card to pay for FFXI with no need of it being maxed out unless I somehow suck at using a card as well.

2. I have moved into a new residence so I have been some time getting a internet connection.

and thats about it, but if anyone was wondering where I had vanished off too, thats where it was.

The previous post in my blog stated I discovered that Mandragoras in the past used a regen move on characters, after a bit of testing with other people I discovered how to triger it as well, it never did the move on characters 1-75 for some reason but me, and then another character with a certain quest title had pondered up and got the regen effect as well.

So completing a new windurst quest labled Babban Ny Mheillea after completing the quest the mandragoras in the past will love you and shower you with regen...even if you slaughter them shortly after.

This game amazes me...undiscovered secrets!

So, here I am sitting on my lvl 17 redmage murdering tiny Lycopodiums in Sarutabaruta of the past...I had been standing in the same place some time with two mandragoras watching my murder there kin and then one decided he would reward me with this...wtf?

If you cant gleem from the Screenshot, I magically received regen effect, and decent sized one for doing absolutly nothing...3hp/tick regen just for standing still beside it for a minute of two. I have now gathered a large group and just watching them spam this on me! I can't believe no one has ever seen this before.

I NOW CLAIM THIS MY DISCOVERY IN THE WORLD OF FFXI! I CLAIM RIGHT TO SAY...I DISCOVERED THIS!

also the effect seems to last a long while as well. that extra boost for soloing out in the WOTG areas and just that quirky thing I expect the Dev team to add and never tell anyone about.

Some people may dispute what the best book ever was, but I have the two best books ever. There is no comparison to the amounts of win that these books contain, and if you have not/wont read these books your life is in grave danger!

Zombie Survival Guide

This book started it, bringing the Zombie menace to a real world, I have never seen such a literal recreation of zombies and it makes it all the more interesting to read. I touches on "if" Zombies existed what they would be like, the physiology, and other works of the zombies mind if you can call it so.

The book touches on basic survival techniques usefull even in the real world and is a frightning look into a post apocaliptic nightmare that is Zombie infestation, a 100% lethal virus killing all but the poor humans infected by it turning them into nothing but machines designed to do one thing...feed.

This book also touches on fictional accounts of zombies in the real world throughout history, from cavemen to egyptians, to modern suburban schoolyards, this book captures my worst fears perfectly for my worst fear are Zombies...

World War Z!

Another book from the same author, this book touches less on the actual Zombie and more on a nightmare scenario where a Zombie outbreak becomes worldwide and humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction. The book paints a frighteningly real picture of what the world would be like if such an event occured...

"Who would ever notice...at the door is a Chinaman with a gun, you sure as hell are not looking for a zombie lurking behind him!"

The world is painted as a bleak start, and continues through the stages of the war.

First is the start, the first story of the first known infected child who appears to have started the outbreak only known as "Patient Z"

Then the book breaks into other parts

The Denial, where the problem is pushed aside by larger problems and is not recognized or blacked out from the media and government, as the problem escelates out of control no one really knows what is happending besides many reports of "African Rabies causing people to go mad and attack anyone in sight" begin to spread...and it's already too late.

The Great Panic where humanity is in total anarchy when discovering such a menance not only exists...but is right outside there door.

One story inparticular seemed to chime with me for some reason, I share no comon traits with the character, nor his origin, or life**** but it just seemed so real...it scared me I wont go into detail because the book just captures you. If you have not read any of these books I highly suggest you do...I don't read often but I've read both these books over 50 times and usually re-read a chapter or two before I sleep.

Why are these book so interesting?

Personally for me Zombie represent the most realistic fictional threat that I have ever known about, it mixes fears of so many things into one, mainly a deadly Virus spreading through direct contact with the host.

Zombies are the most possible of mythical monster to exist, if anything they would be the most probable of all things like Werewolves and Vampires, because usually the basis behind them is real and explainable by science. The undead also have that emotional atachtment to them, they were all once human living and breathing, doing what every other human does...now they are nothing but flesh eating monsters...and as quick as that, you could be one of them endangering your loved one.

It's hard to explain when I'm tired...it's 3:11 in the mornaing, but there is just something about these books that grabs me and pulls me in...Seriously I would love to someday create something in the image of the world Max Brooks created in these books, a Game, Movie, Novel, maybe someday I will bring myself to do such things, but as of now I can only dream someone else will make my dream a reality...nothing would please me more than something like a Sandbox Resident evil.

This is also Why Resident Evil captures me as well, a Zombie Virus just seems so possible that it scares the living hell out of me...and thats why I love it so much!

Please let me know what you think of these books or just the general term of Zombies and what you think the Political and Social reaction of such a outbreak would be.

Not been up too much past my last post, mainly took a hiatus from the game and just starting to get back into it. Trying to help my bro get some CoP done before he finds himself employed again and out of time to enjoy the game for some reason.

Other than that trying to force myself to skill cooking past 94...those unstackable ingredients for sweet rice cake really turn my 10 free inv slots off. Maybe once the Bonanza is done and I win 100m gil I'll finish cooking...and get a mandau...and pimp my Corsair out...and gear my lvl 17 BLM all the way to 75.

I'm gonna take a few pictures of my adventures in the next while update it and force people to comment in this blog before I blow myself to bits with every fruitless post that bring 0 comments besides one offering my pills to help keep me....up....ugh....maybe someone could show me how to set a filter to stop spam posts.

Nothing more fun then fishing for Pirates!

...ok just a funny screenshot I found while skilling cooking on Tuna sushi...gugru tuna sell for 2.8k a pop and like hell I'm paying 2.8k per synth for a recipe I break on many ocassion...simple solution catch my own fish! simple problem...11 fishing skill just does not pull them up very fast or even at all.

Besides taking almost all the time I get to deplete it's stamina I don't even get alot of bites from Tuna...anyone know prime fishing skill to start taking on Tuna? and maybe get skillups as well?

Besides that! Did all the new ToA missions the first day they were released *I don't want to get ditched like I did for CoP and get craped up later on when no one wants to do the missions* I have to say while not as interesting as CoP there are a few things that provoke my interests.

I'll try not to give anything away but the story is getting interesting. funny thing about Odin in this group of CS's is his name is not Odin, or the Dark rider.

it's Odin Prime: Name of many avatars when you fight them...I bet summoners around vanadiel all creamed there pants when they seen this name. I'm still not sure about him being a Summon, but hey they did other crazy stuff in the past I guess. One screenshot I took just makes me want to make a banner out of it...something about it just screams design to me.
and yes someday I'll get around to coding that nice looking layout...someday or pawning Oshi into finishing it for me!

Holy shit! I mean, HOLY SHIT! SE did some fucked up, yet good stuff this update...I mean really Force pop rogueberry I pray this turns out as well as I hope..wich includes me and a Thiefs knife someday.

More besieged stuff, new assault area!, new assaults! and hell yes somethine I've kinda prayed for a while, no exp loss in CoP BC's! yes! I'm free to try whatever whacky job combo I can get my hands on now bwhahahaha. It's just so much to take in, SE really got a hold of what the players want, without going overboard.

I'm somewhat worried that RMT are going to move in on crafting more then ever now though, and thats even harder to detect then someone farming a NM 24/7 sure a person can't spend a week straight day in/night crafting the same item over and over for minimal gain, and RMT can I noticed my main money craft rock bottomed to litteraly not worth crafting because RMT monopolizing it. I fear the worst for my craft cooking for it's cheap to level and has steady but low income, unlike Goldsmith or something that takes a large investment and may not always pay off and end up in a loss something GS would want to avoid.

I hope SE will see this and have a countermeasure for this. the best solution IMHO is to make a even better special task force...give them guns, and assasin training! find RMT's and KILL THEM ALL! /end sarcasm.

I guess we will never be rid of RMT permanently they only go from anoying 1 area of players to the next.

On the other hand Striders...thiefs knife...I wonder what LoO going to drop, lets hope it's not the new DRK spells ha!

A few months ago my household decided to get a new TV before we purchase a PS3, one good reason is why buy a PS3 if you can't play it in HD, waste of money IMHO...But even when your spliting a TV 3 ways it's still damn pricy if you are looking at the stuff we are looking for.

TV requirements!

50~ inch TV
HD *must do my research on best kind of HD and type of TV*
preferably a Sony TV
Price range Looking at about $3000 canadian I got my share...the other two are poor at money saving...very poor :P

THE PS3!

The PS3, oh the PS3 another peice of gaming mastery...or I hope it will be Sony has never failed me before but if they do somehow fail hardcore...I guess my former love Nintendo seems to be doing well with the Wii.
Sony has the most powerfull machine no doubt about it...but lots of developers have a sour taste in there mouth from delays and sony not being the most hospitable company to produce for especially when Microgimp seems to be waiting outside the door with a jar of candy for any producer to stumble into before steping insides Sony's doors.
I still think Sony will win the war, but it will probably be a loss for Sony either way there investment in the console will be a loss to them unless they win by a HUGE margin wich does not seem to be a goal...but you never know Sony did appear out of the blue before and dominated the market, Microgimp decided to try and take the industry by storm...although it had been trying for ages to get in the game...The only reason I think X-box didn't go the way of the dreamcast... *god rest its soul* is because Microgimp has botomless pockets unlike Sega that lost millions on the saturn bomb.
Come on! give me one good reason they nerfed the batarang! ONE GOOD REASON! /sarcasm off.

I still think it's the most hillarious controler scheme ever.

Yes! I finally bred a blue chocobo, I don't have to call KFC anymore allright!

Making a physcial chocobo this time around probably not the best idea due to the fact they were all mental based before...but oh well I was tired of my chocobo running like he had gravity cast on him! and the fact they never learned any abillities from the stories anyways...

Randomness from a trip to Halvung with a bearded man...for what reason we went there I forgot, I think it was to free a NPC!
Old~ but funny I just found this in my screencap folder, when soloing pup when I actually played it and droped a crapload of money on it due to inflation...my puppet climed up a cactus and started fighting the yagudo...talk about getting the high ground.

Another reason why I should turn on my Drawdistance higher when I'm on ships looks pretty even normal though, I should get more SS's of scenery because my graphics card can handle the game very well ^^.

Sorry to anyone who reads my blog once in a while that I have not updated in a coons age, Been a tad busy with the Christmas season, and new systems.

I think I may have gone a bit overboard with my xmas shopping but I only have 2 people to buy for this year and they have been pretty good to me on my birthday and such so I decided to go all out ^^.

But enough of me and my x-mas expenditures, the new systems!

Wii-The one I got due to a preorder a few months in advance, damn nice system truely a familly system it's just so damn fun to play tennis with 3 people and laugh at how no one can swing properly :p

PS3- Sure...I didn't get one, but what I did do is setup the example kiosk at work, so at work I have a working PS3 to play with XD, never had a chance to use it yet though too busy working I guess X-mas retail is insane not because of customers but because of the insane ammounts of stock we get.

I'm planning on getting a PS3 but...sometime next year after I finish my upgrading, then I can work full time and afford the expensive hunk of chromed plastic. Till next time!

I thought hell...show up 4 hours before the store opens somewhere no one hardly even knows we sell the damn thing...get there and a group of 12 people buying all 7 systems are parked to the side heat lamps and trucks roaring....they said they were here 15 hours ...I guess it's possible people got more spare time then I do.

Still kinda anoying I wanted to get one just for the novelty, but once I got to thinking there are no real good release titles for PS3 *not into sports* and resistance isnt that good looking, I got sunday and a Pre ordered Wii to look forward to at least, that should keep me happy for the month or two before I get my hands on a PS3 and some of the wicked cool games it promises me.

So ya I made another template, made a previous post but I've revamped it a bit and hope I can get some, if any feedback on how it looks before I replace this template... >.>

On the FFXI part of life, I want to do assault but I'm not a high enough rank to join the beard and his possy of merry men. I never see shouts for assault anymore and if any they are in JP and obviously they refuse to take a poor NA fool to there runs...So ya if anyone does assault runs give me a shout i'm willing to do any rank up to 3 *the rank I'm at* and if that means doing leberos assault over and over I'll do it, I just want to get to the higher tiers. Yup another wallpaper I made with old vectors I got tired of looking at the same one of Ichigo.

Maybe more people are familliar with Ghost in the shell anyways and I might get a few comments on this. Nothing big, but quick and simple, I hope someone else decides they need a new desktop XD.

For some reason I have a urge to make a wallpaper out of a certain Tarutaru's art but obviously it's not mine to use...Just one of those urges I get >.>. Some images just get my creative juices flowing and make me want to make something with them XD.

Anyways enough of me rambling, FFXI life is pretty standard at the moment I'm trying to catch Onekomaru online so I can "Add her to my friends list!" but I'm always asleep by the time she logs on nowdays due to daytime work hours and whatnot ^^;. If all works out today expect to see me leveling in the dunes tomorrow on my poorly geared BLM, with my brother Oshikorosu *Rdm* and his Girlfriend Koibito *Whm* and then when they get near 17 I'm gonna go grab my puppetmaster just because I got some strange urge to level it again, or...maybe it's becasue I hate mage jobs and need something to meele with XD. I hope to get to actually talk to some of the people I know soon get a few social linkshells sence it seems so many people are in different shells, wether it be people I know well already...that would be you Rhyis, Neko, and Wyred...or people I hope to get to know better.

So I go to my interview at the Sony store and everything seems to be in order and the person interviewing me seemed like he was just about to say the words "Your Hired" Until he took another look at my resume and seen that I was not yet 18...only by a few weeks >.< but he said that the position had to be filled by the 17th and I needed to be 18 to get a Bondable job...so ya...this is like the 5th time I've been turned down a job just because I'm not 18 yet!

DAMN YOU AGE RESTRICTIONS! DAMN YOU TO HELL!

It's too bad if I got hired I would have got a free trip to calgary for 3 day payed training T-T...I'm gonna start to look into other revenues of work I think...it's just so hard to find a full time job that is enjoyable for the most part.

Fast food-Never again.
Electronics- Never any full time spots for good pay.
Printing- No positions at all...
Graphic design- No one in my city hardly even knows what those words mean.

What to do...what to do...Maybe I'll look into how well freelancing pays, doubt I'll find anything good enough to get me to start designing freelance but you never know.

I needed the print of a resume to apply at a new job, so I decided why always complain about printing stuff when I can just buy a printer! So off I go buying the cheapest printer I can find...and what do my eyes spy on that cheap boxes title *Scaner/Printer* So I just had to get it...and give a easily bored man a scaner, this is what you get.
But...thats beside the point, while being drove around town I decided to apply somewhere that I didn't even think about working at before...the Sony store. Strangly I walked in and imediatly got a interview for thursday hopefully it will go well and I will have a good full time job >.> and maybe discounts XD

Well I don't feel so bad about my .dat mods now that I have had someone request I port my Elvaan Cor mod onto hume.

Doesnt look bad and dealed with a few alpha map issues.

I've been taking a somewhat break from FFXI I just started school again and looking for new work, and no one I know logs on until late at night usually when I'm too tired to log on nowdays, once things settle down I'll be able to log in all times of the day again.

Again if anyone ever needs some sort of .Dat made I'm not half bad at recolors.

I was gazing at the landscape on the ferry to Nashamau, when this thing pops infront of me *protieus* and I put my shadows up noticing it cons impossible to gauge. That was a big mistake, he agrod me striped my shadows in a 100% accurate flurry of Hundred fist speed swings and soon after I was laying on the floor only to take a R1 at the dock...I was in a hurry to finish Cor AF1 quest before I had to head off to work.

I finally finished Cor AF1 with the help of Rhyis coming all the way to the mire to raise my sorry ass that somehow droped sneak and invis in the middle of a chigoe swarm *I have yet to figure out what happend I couldnt get agro from them and no imps near* I'm so not looking forward to any other COR AF quests due to the fact I have to go through that retarded door, and have one of those retarded keys to get there...

The gun itself is pretty sweet though.

I got bored of looking at all the Cor's in there frilly pink shirts so I decided when I get mine it will be a bit darker to fit my Shade skins I put on my Character. This is what I will look like when I finish my Cor AF~ I think it was a fairly decent reskin compared to my other skins my Scorpion harness skin needs to be redone the grey with blurry JP characters just is not doing it anymore. and I need to change the color of my leggings and feet, but thats for when I get less lazy.

and also in tribute to Rhyis for saving me, I pledged to name my first born child Beard, or in the event of a girl Beardette.

...I must go visit my choco baby I named him Black meteor nice name I think, I have to go take him for his walkies!
On another note I am working on revising my template again~ I'm going to try and go for a more structured look something like what I see on Strawberries blog, I just feel like I need more structure to the layout as this one is somewhat cramped. Give me your thoughts on it so far I'm planing on expanding the size to take up the screen better and to move information around.

It's been too long sense I last touched Photoshop so I make poor images just to keep me from getting too rusty and this wallpaper is one of those images. Not my best vector, and not my best wallpaper work but hey it's better the Microsoft wallpaper no?

Been working on the template for my new layout, partly a collaberation on me and my brothers part on designing it.

*he is to thank for the wiked looking border on my banner but the inside and the rest so far is mine* He got a bit stumped on designing the layout, and I had a good idea to recreate something from one of my earlier days *the cracked scratched metal for the content boxes* I think it turned out well but can't wait to finish and get my brother to code it.

FFXI: Recent events.

In recent events I have taken my corsair to 42 farther then I thought I would go with the small ammount of gil I have left, and my refusal to farm because I'm lazy.It annouces itself to me that someone who has leveled the ultimate farming job...never farms, I find it is somewhat of a paradox because I always wanted to solo things no one else could and I never find myself even doing anything with thief besides walk around and kill stuff too weak or with other people.

My big goal as Thief was to duo Serket someday but with the rage timers seems that dream got crushed before it could be realized. If I ever get around to draging my ass to the boyahada tree cloister to level my evasion skill maybe I will find more motivation to solo things...and also I guess getting rank 8 windy and getting the +10 eva skill gloves would be nice as well.

So many jobs half leveled, so many things unfinished. I want to pimp out my thief but to do that it seems I would need to either farm alot...or join one of those god forsaken HNM shells that I doubt I'd ever have the time for due to being a part time worker, part time uncomited slacker, I guess I don't want to hold stuff back for anyone I have always been like that if I think I'll be a burden I usually stop...because I hate when people have the opinion of me that I'm no good. In turn this has fuled my half assed rage to level a much more usefull and wanted job...started with warior...got it to 37 decided hell no it's a good sub but expensive and somewhat slow invite job...wich I had enough of as thief. Whm/Blm/Bst all met the same fate at the same level, 7-8 usually the most boring levels of any job I decided to quit these due to extreme boredom of the job.

ToA come out, and puppetmaster intruiged me, but after getting it to 18 found it to be a job I would love to level but will never level it because it would take as long as thief. Corsair...I don't know why I picked this job up probably because /mage is not a looked up on subjob and I have a fully finished sub for the job albeit the lesser of the two sub *I plan to level ranger to 37 as well soon* Ninja I doubt I will ever touch this as a subjob though and when corsair reaches 48~ I will force myself to level Ranger even just a few levels so I can continue Corsair.

Corsair is a fun job, expensive as it may be...but thats a sacrifice I must grudgingly accept.

Once my corsair reaches 60 if I have not finished up to the 60 cap mission fights in CoP I will probably start seeking a group to finish up CoP I want a rajas ring damn it! The only downside about leveling as Cor, is like Thief I have to explain my role in the party over and over again and the fact people don't understand that mages and meele need to stay apart *think they never had a bard in there lives!* and having limited bullet reserves I find myself to be really picky about the parties I get and where I get them otherwise I feel like I'm shooting my gil for nothing but lousy exp...

I find my social linkshell empty somedays when I log into it...kind of depressing because I do love to talk to people I know but when there are people I at least have someone to talk to while I do my daily milling about in FFXI.

I am once again considering leveling my cooking past 70, the dauntingly long recipe lists and limited inventory space I have even with 2 mules and a moglocker always veers me away...I think this time I may stay on target because I really need the gil >.<.

I think those are my ramblings for the day... My next blog entry will be my own review on the anime Samarai Champloo ^^ I found it quite entertaining.

Well the truth is...I don't know how to code enough to put together I sight...it took me forever to learns what
meant...I'm kinda ashamed to admit it but thats one of those hurdles I kinda shoved off to the side while I made web templates for people who didn't need me to do any coding ^^.

So I ask of you the few who may read my blog if you could point me to, or give me a quick understanding of how this damn code stuff works I would be in your debt. These long strings of letters and number make no sense to me...

Sorry for those of you who read my blog and stare at my few updates just been kinda busy latley leveling corsair and adjusting to my new job. I finally got out of the resturant biz and into selling electronics *yay!*

It's a big difference from what I used to do, although I tend to find it easier there are alot of things I still need to learn about the job before I would feel comfortable working alone wich I hope doesnt happen for a few more weeks so many codes I need to know of by heart it's crazy.

Has it ever happend to you...you know when you just stop and think about the world around you, the world beside you, and the world that involves you. Today was one of those days for me one of those days where you think too much, it's one of those days where reality catches up to you and all the things you don't want to think about you think about.

1-Job- I quit my job at Mcdonalds, but hopefully moving to a easier and more enjoyable job in a electronics department at a nearbye superstore.

Thinking about work makes me think about school, am I going to colledge...if so what courses, what will these do for me? will I stay in my home city? will I move? will I end up being screwed over for money due to my lazyness to not get any grants? are there any scholarships out there for Graphic Designers of my skill level? If I do ever become a designer will I really enjoy it? am I even good enough to be a designer? Will I end up droping a course moved somehwere I dont know... with nowhere to go?

2-School-I plan on going back to school for grade 13 *I did graduate but I want to get my Japanese while it's cheap* I like Japanese it's a great language and I would love to visit or maybe even live there someday.

Do I have the dedication to learn a second language...I suck at the one I speak as it it...How will going to school effect me working full time? Where do I plan on going with a second language will it open door or just help keep some ajar?

Days like this make me ramble on, but I hate rambling when I got no one to ramble to...so I guess this is why I have a blog hopefully someone will read my ramblings and take something intelligable from them. I assume the day after I wright this I will go back to my happy go lucky self and read this and wonder why I am worrying about things like this ^^; part of it is the people around me don't seem to embrace the layed back lifestyle I want to live.

I have also discovered how horrible people think life is, I personally think if I can do something I enjoy...whatever it is as long as I can make a living even if it's only a mediocer one I would rather do that then another job I despise but get payed more. Work is like a part of life for me, we spend enough time doing it...why not enjoy it eh?

People think differently, they think you have to work hard on something you hate to be able to squeeze that good life when your not working...it strikes me as odd how people can even think this, in a land like Canada where there is soo much opertunity waiting for the individual how can we think we have to dislike our jobs to be a good job, and that job we love is out of our grasp! Obviously my look on life is a tad utopianist, but others seems a tad...deperessing and well wrong to me at least.

What do you think life should be like, should it be a eternal struggle to acheive happyness while your not working, or should it be something you enjoy even if it doesnt give as many benifits as working with what you hate?

I hate days like this they get me depressed at the fact I even think about this, makes me think all the dark thoughts I don't want to think and no one should think. It makes you look at the world around you and see all the things wrong with it instead of looking at what is right, depending on perspective the world can be a beatifull or horid place, so before I ramble on anymore I'll stop.

Well today is my graduation day...I feel somewhat relieved to have graded....Although I do still have a month of school left, but thats beside the point for now I get a shiny peice of paper saying I graduated anyways.

For this once in a lifetime experince I have rented...a tuxedo...with a cain...but not a hat >.<, I look pretty pimping in it. When I get some pictures of me actually graduating and whatnot I shall try to upload them on this sight so you can all see how silly I really look in this pastime between FFXI that I call "Real Life"...seriously who needs it there is no pushthrough!

Well the past few days have been a tad Boring on FFXI not many people online that are not waiting for the dissapointment we all call Besieged to start and swiftly end. So I decided to do what some have finished and get all 5 staging points.... my first attempt at the two hardest ones ended in oblivious failure due to my ineptness at following directions without a map.

So the next day I gear up...buy some Thief's tool, Silent oils...and listen to my wallet bitch at me for doing this. So I set out and begin my meandering towards the reef, the start began very well I met a JP person who asked me if I had a lamia fang key...I told him no, but my Mad Thief skills could get us through without a key anyways!

He seemed sceptical...

he insisted we fight for a key before we went but as I pressed forward without him.....he and his [b]STRIDER BOOTS![/b]*rich bastard* followed. As we reached the gate he continued to insist we fight a skeleton or a lamia but as I waited for someone who had /tell me to wait at the gate before opening it he just hovered around mobs waiting for me to engage hehe ^^. when all was said and done I left those two people in awe...I don't know whats so impressive about paying 5k to open a door...damn key prices!.

But once we got through me and the JP strolled over to the Illustri staging point where we found 2 mirrors on the way and promptly broke them. After saying goodbye to my friend and bodyguard, I pay 200 standing that I gained with my mirror to go back to the staging point to save me from burning more Tools and that long ship ride.

I arrive once more in the reef, groaning at the fact the next staging point was still fairly far away and another key door blocks my way yet I press onwards. Sence I have never been one for directions I tend to see doors and paths and wonder whats at the end of them.....curiosity killed the cat...well guess I'm lucky cat doesnt run in my blood.

After much exploring and killing yet another mirror and seing another one on the way! I reach the staging point. and now have 5/5 staging areas ^^.

Lvl 75!

I must say...when I started playing FFXI 75 levels was a massive goal for me...and in the future it seemed to become a even larger goal when sitting LFG 6+ hours was common and I rarely had the time to be doing that.

as time slowly ran down, through many ENM's and exp scrolls I evntually reached lvl 73...and when this happend a whole new world became clear...the world of merit parties. 5k exp /hr was now a thing to be shuned and people had extreme expectations of you due to the large gap in skill Merits could create between a 75thf without merits and a 75 thf with maxed merits...luckily for me not many thief were seeking during my 73-75 leveling spree.

Within two days of reaching 73 I finally hit that magic number...75!~

I hope that I will learn to love the merit system and spend some time farming gil I have lost through the many factors of leveling...a blm brother who i've givin well over 1 million gil.

It's fairly large but I plan on printing it into a poster when I am finished along with a few other projects I have sitting on my hard drive.

on the FFXI front of thing, I am almost lvl 74 thf *8k exp just need a damn invite* then I will get Uts Ni, and therefor I will probably delvl because I will go murder myself to the nearest strong mob.

I must get on a farming spree I am 4 mill shy of the drag harness I want...unless someone wants to make a donation to the make me a good thf...but as soon as I get Uts Ni I am willing to help people with quests and so forth I'll be unstopable! untill I take on something incredibally touph :p.

but I guess spider farming will be alot easier or maybe I should skill up evasion before doing some more farming... such underleveled skill for a thf >.<. I should also do some dynamis so I can get some AF2 or raise some gil with dynamis currency I get once we beat the dynamis and stick around to farm ^^.

Also some sad new...Rispy cakes quit the game *the leader of subligar conection* ; ; I will miss him along with other members I knew along with gene and topo. I hate when people quit! lives be damned....ok I lied I myself have quit once and came back soon after the CoP expansion came out, I find the game alot more enjoyable though more complex then the days of NA release.

I really love the concept of the ENM's and personally wish they applied this to mission BCNM's so instead of worying about your pt setup people could try whatever setup like Thfx6! and not worry about loosing hard earned exp points.

what do you guys think, wouldnt that be a great idea and instead of needing cookie cutter jobs to be accepted into mission groups people would be more open to the idea of experimenting with other jobs, finding what works...whats beyond the box WHATS OUTSIDE OF THE BOX!.

The thought came to me today that I bet Japanese children are learning what I am...makes me feel like such a newbie lol. But I have faith that I am doing my best and will soon know the Hirigana table by heart then I can move onto the other forms of JP and try to master Speaking Hiragana and learning what that string of text I can read means.

Thats the only thing about learning a language learning how to read is the easy part, but understanding what your reading is another thing. You can teach anyone how to say Five....but how do they know what five means? the only way is the hard way by remembering! wich is where I'm gonna get stuck with my poor memory.

But after only a month of classes I can read Hiragana ^-^;; wether this is good or not I don't know, but if any of you can speak Japanese and read this give me some feedback on my progress.

Well after taking a short break from FFXI I come back to find my LS empty most the times I log in, with boredom setting in sence I don't know many people Outside my LS nor do I have any other social shells.

I am contemplating on taking another break...trying to level my Thief to 75 finally, or just try and find another social shell, but I personally don't know anyone else with a social shell thats not JP onry.

I used to make alot of requested signatures back in the day, but as I got better the comitment to all my signatures became greater and less rewarding due to the fact the lifetime of a requested signature can be anywhere from Never being used at all to a month or two tops.

I make a few signatures now and then to keep myself polished and up to date, but I feel I took too long of a break and my work is begining to deminish, I have to get all my old files off of my old computer so I can make quality signatures like I used too.

Well as some of you may know I finally made the plunge and made the switch from Ps2 to the all mighty PC *with extreme graphics and Ram no doubt* my 2 gigs of ram and my Geforce 6800GS PCIE card win the day making FFXI the best it can be.

I must say graphically the PC version dominates the Ps2 in every way shape and form, but the comfortable controls of the Ps2 I have grown too acustomed to, therefore must buy a PSX adapter to hook my old controler to my PC and get the best of both worlds.

Topochocolate- Damn there never was a funnier man on FFXI that I could know, I thank you for giving me my pearl to subligar conection and the origins of the name wich I try so hard to repress in the back of my mind. Good luck to whatever life throws at you wether it be games or real life.

Omsagro- There is something about making a friend on a online game that can be just as bonding as a friendship in real life, helping eachother do the impossible chering eachother and laughing at eachother when we fail. Omsagro besides having a name that baffled topochocolate you are a good man, and I wish the best for you and hope you get well.

Belzebu- Who else can I say is in a exp party less then I? Belzebu you take FFXI to a new level sitting in Jueno making those prism poweders showing us there is more to FFXI then bashing a mob over the head with a cudgel *although I tend to enjoy that*

Onekomaru- Never have a seen a more selfless person, helping others at the drop of a hat, and never have I seen someone who levels so many jobs either! I have some good memories when I have come to help or have played with you, never a bad time to be had when you are around.

Killing you and Topochocolate in Boyohada Tree, with the ironic twist of fate I actually had Hyoton tools that day I will remember that for a long time. Fishing for mantas what a nice time we had, and killing that worm as well, beating the gillsellers to the punch unfortunate that I seem to live up to my name when helping anyone get a drop XD

There are many others I know in the game, and I would love to mention you all and I may do so in a later post just know that I enjoy playing FFXI not for the slow exp grind...but for the community.

RMT is here to stay as much as we all hate it, I will continue to despise the trade because it influences the real world econimy in third world countries for another meduim to employ people for pennies a day, and make money Hand over Fist over other people missery.

Also with christmas being here I seen a post on KI of someone wondering why IGE was out of gil, and the idea dawned upon me people are buying mass ammounts of gil for christmas presents in game and in turn destroying a stable economy because other non gilbuyers, gilbuyers and RMT take advantage of the fact people are to lazy to wait for a overpriced item to go back to normal price..

For example Scorpion harness is 10 million now, and other items have recntly insanly risin in price.

as for FFXI, if you let all the coruption and fighting in the game slide over you the game is very, very enjoyable but when you actually think of everything wrong with the game it can seem the game has gone to the dogs.

The games all about perspective, and I enjoy the comunity more then I do anything else, and there is nothing RMT can't sell you a good community.

The picture itself has a anceint, dark feel to it representing how deep seeding and long we have been this way. We can see the blunders of humanities lust for power in our government across the world, just by looking under the covers to see what lay beneath. Money is power, and power is the root of all evil, therefore Money is the root of all evil. The world powers spend billions and billions of the tax payers money to develope bigger and better weapons, it would only take four hundred of our biggest warheads to destroy the entire world, yet we have near ten thousand of these warheads ready to launch at a moments notice.He who has the biggest guns calls the shots this seems to be a accepted truth to the world. Society has made this behaviour acceptable, it seems that guns big enough to blow everything up, including yourself are a good thing to invest your money into.
The image istelf could be broken down into a description of how humanity encourages this behavior, the two figures are both skeletons, representing death, the smaller one is society cheering on our leaders seen as the Grim Reaper, to carry out his duties. The picture also shows the Grim Reaper himself decaying forshadowing his own demise.

Between a small childhood fight for ones milk money, to the cold war, we see how low humanity will sink for the mere right to feel superior to everyone.We invest billions of dollars into weapons that are unrealistically powerfull and have a payload big enough to turn a civilization to ashes, not just destroying soldiers but inocent civilians as well. Ever sence the Internet has been released to the mass public, many things have happend to what is right and wrong in society. The freedom of the internet has changed to rules of society because humans can hide behind a screen, with little worry of taking responsibillity for there action, because of this people will do things they never would normally including theft. Downloading music has been a problem to the music industry because it reduces there revenue gained on Compact disk sales, and sence the music corperation is afterall a corperation they will do anything necisary to get as much money as they can. But the greed of the music company is not at question, it is the question if downloading music is right or wrong. Many people believe it is perfectly just and right, because the Corperations are greedy and charge to much, it is easier than going to a store, or because they don't wish to pay for the music they want to listen to. The internet has released a new form of society but is the way this society forming right or wrong.

Music stars, musicians and all figures related to the music industry, generate massive revenue for themselves and it is hard to find a rock star who does not live in a mansion. The music industry tells us downloading music is making it less desirable to create more music and is bankrupting them, the music industry obviously makes enough money to outfit themselves with fancy cloths, gold jewelry, and a overall wealthy lifestyle whereass most the people who spend there hard earned money on this live a average or below average lifestyle. The fact the music industry tells us that music is not profitable anymore is absolutly ludicris, if they don't generate revenue on concerts, music videos, clothing, jewelry, misc paraphenalia the CD sales would keep them in business either. Like any corperation, they are run by the all mighty buck and the more they can drain from us the better anything stoping them they will atempt to crush any means possible.

Downloading music is extremly easy, there is little required to do it besides knowing how to point and click. In the days before it was portibabl, music was not very popular because it was a very enduring and expensive procces to go to the concert hall and sit through a symphony, and as times changed they found ways to make it easier for the common person to listen to like Radio and Compact disks. As such the revolution of portible music this is just another change in the times of downloading music, like all things that change poeple will resist it because it disrupts there way of life. Is the music industry loosing money because of this? imple asnwer is no, there are now industries adapting to this and selling there music online at more affordable, cheaper, and more sensable prices. Downloading of the internet is many times easier then traiditionally buying music at a store or with a credit card, and as long as few people are punished for this behaviour people will continue to exersise this behaviour.

Is downloading music illegal? yes, is it wrong? yes, despite all this people still download music because the way society percieve the internet as a sort of wall against normal society. The majority of the world disregards this as even being morally wrong, and therfor little or no action is taken against this criminal offence. The proper way people are supposed to download music is for themselves and themselves only, but there are those who disrespect this rule and will use there ill goten gain and use it to profit themselves. This is the kind of illegal activity wich gives the casual downloader, who download music to sample or just for single songs a bad repuation. Obviously downloading music is wrong, but what will the future hold for this practice will only be known in time.

Like many things, the way we listen to music has been changed by computers and as things changed other things will change in time as well. Currently music industries claim they are loosing money, and will eventually no longer be able to produce music wich is unfortuanatly for them not true. Downloading music is much easier, cheaper, and less labor intensive then previous forms of ataining music, and is widly accepted in society. Although it is illegal people care to little to accept the laws, and like everything in time the laws will change. As long as the internet remains available to the public there is no way to stop the spread of property and ideas wether someone likes it or not, maybe in the future stricter laws will be in place but as it sits there is little to nothing the industries can do to stop them besides suing a few people who have no way to afford the stagering fines. In times things will change and the crime of downloading music as illegal will be a thing of the past.

D-Day- letter from a American soldier and his short encounter with the enemy.

D-Day.

Today....Today was the longest day of my life, it all began on the cariers that were to drop us off on the beach, it was quite as we aproached the beach. Jenkins asked me for a smoke so I tossed him one, no sooner did he light it we heard a deafening crash of to our right, it was one the cariers hit a baracade. I readied my rifle and got ready to jump out on the beach, by the time my unit had left the carier half of them were lying in the water mowed down as fast as they came. At that point in time I could not help to think why we are doing this, what were these people fighting for, all those men had admirations and familly awaiting them at home yet they were the first to suffer a bullet to the chest and never have a chance at those dreams. I was quickly brought out of my trance by a grenade exploding about ten feet infront of me, I then quickly jumped behind a baricade and put down some cover fire for what remained of my unit. The fight was long bloody and hard but we eventually reached the bunkers and began to clear them out, the extent of wich these people fought was insanity, they did not want to be taking prisoner, they wanted to fight to the death. Our unit has secured a safe bunker and intend to camp here tonight, I pray we awake to the familliar faces of our friends.....

We finally got up from our rest the unit decided to head out and secure more bunkers, I leave this last note hoping I will continue this journal, this is not a war it's a massacre.

Ok so now I did not entirly understand the concept that was stated as " Visual Mind map" so I took a wild guess and assumed it was a visual representation of what I thought the 6 characters represented, and I will include a key to that these symbols represent.

Akiba drumer-Destructive religious faith- Akiba shows us what the extremes of religious faith can go, to the point of beleiving he could predict the time liberation was going to come.

Franik and Idek- Carnage - Franik and Idek are representations of the carnage and destruction and moral wrong that goes on in the concentration camps

Moshe- Spirtual support - Moshe is in the begining of the book Elies religious support and giving him faith.

Juliek - Friendship - *I'm so sorry for mispelling his name but by the time i found out this mistake it was too late* Juliek was one of the few people Elie has talked about as if he was apart from the crowd of prisoners, and Juliek seems to be the closest thing to a friend that Elie has in this living hell.

Elies father - Support - Elies father was by far the only thing that let him survive the conentration camps, without him he had no reason to live Elie did not seem very self preservative. Sure he had a few moments where he ignored his father or scorned him for enraging a guard, but Elie would not have the notion to keep himself alive without him.

Multiple times through the story Elie mentioned he had to stay alive for his father, because he was to his father as his father was to him they both supported eachother to the bitter end.

This is my interpretation of the lessons we learned from the Holocaust.

This is what people call a Tarot card, the Death card *or hanged man* can represent death or the end of things, I took the death part more literal. We learned from the Holocause what can happen when prejiduce gets out of hand, death, destruction and morally corrupt treatment of human beings. If you need a more indepth explination or need to ask how I made either of these projects just ask me, but in a breif explination Internet pictures and slight to moderate alterations in Adobe Photoshop i did not have the proper inspiration to make a completly original product, again i'm sorry if my product is lack luster but I hope you enjoy my projects and grade them higher then what I think i'll receive.

FFXI- Emergency update SE to blame?

there is one thing that just gets under my skin is when people start shouting "FUCK SE THERE DUMB!"

As much as it sucks for people who had plans to play today, well just bad luck nothing SE can do. 9/10 people you talk to ingame will call SE retarded, until you state the fact they update the servers and maintain them so shit doesnt always hit the fan but in this case SE can not control the forces of nature as much as they wish they could.

but I can also relate to those who are angry *even though they should not be angry just kinda dissapointed at a bad streak of luck* sence FFXI is such a involving game, it's not "Just a game" it's like going to the mall, or a hockey game, or a competition. Lots of people will even plan things ahead for events in FFXI, Imagine your Hockey game is cancled because there was a crime in the arena, or your trip to the mall was cut short due to a car crash, or your competition was cancled. you would be a tad anoyed to in most cases.

Most of us know there is nothing we or SE can do to fix this problem, lets all vent and say how unconvient it is, but don't shit allover SE about it.
